Fogging safety glasses are a significant cause of non-compliance related to safety eyewear in the workplace. However, there are many reasons to wear anti-fog safety glasses, and our list of the 5 best anti-fog safety glasses helps you find affordable and stylish eye protection that won’t fog up.
Looking for eye wear to keep cold and wind out for distance running. Eyes water like crazy……Any suggestions?
Thank you for your question, Greg.
This is not an easy answer. You need to keep the cold wind out of your eyes, but you don’t want a complete seal because your body heat will eventually cause fogging issues. My recommendation is to wear eyewear with a taller lens profile to maximize the area of protection while allowing warm moist air to escape from behind the lens. You’ll also want a brand/style with a premium anti-fog lens coating to reduce fogging. My recommendation would be the Edge Dawson with Vapor Shield lenses. A less expensive alternative would be the Crews Checklite CL5 with MAX6 Anti-Fog lenses and a removable foam gasket.
I’ve been wearing these glasses every day since I bought them for work. They are very comfortable to wear and were the best goggles I have ever worn to resist fogging. Haven’t had to wear a mask while wearing them yet, but when working indoors in hot and humid conditions, they don’t fog up at all!
